The Fire Above is based out of Daytona Beach, FL. Founded in 2009 by Chris Picklo (Soulfound, Divergence) and Jared Curtis (Hiding in the Light). The duo found Wes Nowviskie (The Easy Marks) and drummer Anthony Lupo and started combining influences from The Police, Metallica, Clutch, Rush and Iron Maiden, to create a tastefully molodic and textured alternative rock with a progressive edge. Armed with searing tube amps and old guitars, The Fire Above brings emotion and ferocity to each show, flooding the stage with melodic riffs and intensity.
